Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners to promote Meliá Zanzibar’s packages, events, and services.
  • Achieve and consistently exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Present compelling information about the resort's amenities, features, and unique selling points.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers through professional and engaging communication.
  • Accurately record all call information, sales activities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Follow up on leads and inquiries promptly and effectively to maximize conversion rates.
  • Stay informed about current promotions, packages, and resort offerings to provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Handle customer objections professionally and convert them into successful sales.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies and campaign effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an outbound call center, telemarketing, or direct sales role (minimum 6 months).
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a clear, persuasive speaking voice.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.
  • Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Swahili, German, French, Italian).
  • Familiarity with luxury resort offerings and sales cycles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
