Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior detailing, including vacuuming, shampooing, stain removal, and conditioning of upholstery, carpets, and leather.
- Execute meticulous exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, tire dressing, and window cleaning.
- Apply protective coatings and sealants as required, ensuring a brilliant and lasting finish.
- Inspect vehicles for quality assurance before and after detailing, identifying and addressing any missed spots or imperfections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay, tools, and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and proper chemical handling procedures.
- Assist with customer vehicle drop-off and pick-up as needed, ensuring a professional and courteous experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding vehicle status and detailing progress.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related hands-on role.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for achieving immaculate results.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and agility to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of various detailing products, tools, and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in automotive detailing or related fields.
- Familiarity with paint correction, ceramic coatings, and advanced detailing methods.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Proficiency in operating power tools specific to detailing (e.g., buffers, polishers).
