Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventories and develop robust carbon accounting systems for diverse clients.
- Analyze environmental data, identify emission sources, and quantify carbon footprints in accordance with international standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064).
- Monitor and interpret evolving environmental regulations, policies, and carbon market mechanisms.
- Develop actionable carbon reduction strategies, including energy efficiency measures, renewable energy integration, and supply chain optimization.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and sustainability disclosures for internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and recommend carbon offset projects and facilitate engagement in carbon credit markets.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients on achieving net-zero targets and complying with sustainability reporting requirements.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies and GHG Protocol standards.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in environmental data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with environmental management software is a plus.
