Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with self-administration as per care plan.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities, conversation, and companionship.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health, behavior, or well-being to supervisory staff.
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols and company policies.
- Provide emotional support and promote a positive atmosphere for clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Caregiver or in a similar role.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a compassionate nature.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Valid first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
