Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated premises and property to deter unauthorized activities.
- Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels, responding promptly and appropriately to any alerts or incidents.
- Control access points, verifying credentials of authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
- Record detailed and accurate reports of observations, incidents, and activities during each shift.
- Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or security breaches following established protocols.
- Ensure all security equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions or defects.
- Provide a visible, professional, and reassuring security presence for clients and staff.
- Liaise effectively with emergency services, clients, and colleagues when necessary.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License (or willingness to obtain prior to employment).
- Excellent observational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and interaction.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Good physical fitness for patrolling duties and standing for extended periods.
- Basic IT literacy for operating security systems and writing incident reports.
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or public-facing role.
- A valid First Aid at Work qualification.
