This is more than just a job; it’s a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge and practical expertise required to become a skilled carpenter. As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will be immersed in a hands-on workshop environment, working closely with experienced journeymen carpenters who are dedicated to sharing their craft. You will learn everything from reading blueprints and understanding material specifications to mastering various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Your journey will begin with basic tasks, allowing you to gradually develop your confidence and competence. We believe in learning by doing, so you’ll quickly progress to assisting with cutting, shaping, and installing wooden structures, furniture components, and fixtures for a variety of construction and accommodation projects. This apprenticeship focuses heavily on precision, safety, and quality craftsmanship. You will gain invaluable experience in different aspects of carpentry, including rough carpentry (framing, structural work), finish carpentry (trim, cabinetry, flooring), and potentially even custom furniture making, depending on project needs. Our commitment is to provide you with a supportive learning atmosphere where questions are encouraged, mistakes are learning opportunities, and progress is celebrated.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a genuine passion for creating things with wood. No prior carpentry experience is necessary; we provide all the training you’ll need. What we seek is your dedication, punctuality, and a proactive attitude towards learning. You will be an integral part of our workshop team, contributing to the successful completion of projects that enhance our community’s infrastructure and living spaces. We are looking for someone who is ready to commit to a long-term learning path, understanding that mastery takes time and consistent effort. Join us and lay the foundation for a rewarding and stable career in a highly sought-after trade. This apprenticeship offers a direct pathway to becoming a certified and highly capable carpenter within our organization, with opportunities for advancement based on your performance and commitment. Embark on a journey where every piece of wood tells a story of skill and dedication, and let Mamba Point Accommodation & Construction be the starting point of your professional narrative.
