Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and dicing ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all kitchen areas and equipment meet health and safety standards.
  • Support the cooking process by monitoring food temperatures, stirring, and basic cooking tasks as directed.
  • Receive and store food deliveries, ensuring proper rotation and inventory management.
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations and banquet events.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene protocols (HACCP principles).
  • Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Learn and apply new culinary techniques and recipes as guided by the culinary team.
