Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Develop and implement innovative seasonal menus, daily specials, and culinary programs that align with Clyde's brand and appeal to diverse tastes.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of kitchen staff, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain optimal food costs and minimize waste without compromising quality.
- Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, local health codes) within the kitchen.
- Maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with the General Manager and front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor food quality, consistency, and portion control to uphold established standards.
- Handle administrative duties such as scheduling, performance reviews, and record-keeping.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Sous Chef or higher) in a high-volume, quality-focused restaurant.
- Demonstrated expertise in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP principles, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Proficiency in inventory management, cost control, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited culinary program.
