Are you a visionary engineering leader with a proven track record of driving large-scale infrastructure projects? Masimba Holdings Limited is seeking an exceptional Chief Engineering Officer to spearhead our engineering division and provide strategic direction for our extensive portfolio of projects within Murehwa and the broader Mashonaland East Province. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional capable of overseeing all engineering operations, from conceptualization and design to execution and post-completion analysis, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and commitment to national development.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the overall engineering strategy in alignment with Masimba Holdings' corporate objectives and growth plans.
- Provide executive leadership and technical oversight for all engineering functions, ensuring the highest standards of design, quality, and project delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.
- Oversee the planning, design, execution, and closure of major civil engineering, building, and infrastructure projects within the region.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant engineering codes, standards, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Drive innovation in engineering methodologies, technologies, and sustainable practices to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.
- Manage project risks, budgets, and timelines, ensuring optimal resource allocation and financial performance.
- Collaborate closely with other executive team members, business development, and operations to integrate engineering solutions seamlessly.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with clients, stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives within the engineering division, including BIM and other advanced project management tools.
Required Skills
- Exceptional leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Profound technical expertise across multiple engineering disciplines (e.g., Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Water Resources).
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale, complex infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Strong financial acumen and experience with budget management and cost control.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to drive innovation and technological adoption in an engineering environment.
- Deep understanding of Zimbabwean and international engineering standards, codes, and regulations.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional registration with the Engineering Council of Zimbabwe (ECZ) or equivalent international body.
- Experience with public-private partnerships (PPPs) and large-scale government contracts.
- Familiarity with advanced project management software and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
