Job Description
This is a pivotal leadership role for an experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to spearhead our technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives in Mutare, Manicaland Province. The CIO will be instrumental in aligning our information technology vision with our overarching business goals, ensuring that our IT infrastructure, systems, and processes are robust, secure, and scalable to support our rapid growth and innovation agenda. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and growth ambitions.
- Lead the digital transformation journey, identifying and implementing innovative technologies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the entire IT infrastructure, including networks, systems, data centers, and cloud services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing IT department, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Establish and enforce IT governance policies, procedures, and best practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Manage the IT budget, optimizing technology investments and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services.
- Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, developing robust strategies to protect company assets and customer data from emerging threats.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies, platforms, and software solutions to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Collaborate closely with other executive leaders to ensure IT solutions effectively support business needs across all departments.
- Champion data analytics and business intelligence initiatives to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role, preferably as a CIO or equivalent.
