Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning schedules and routines for all designated areas.
  • Conduct regular and thorough inspections to ensure all cleanliness standards and protocols are consistently met.
  • Provide training and guidance to new and existing cleaning personnel on proper techniques, equipment usage, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
  • Oversee the maintenance of all cleaning equipment, arranging for repairs or replacements as needed to ensure functionality.
  • Address resident concerns or complaints related to cleaning services promptly, professionally, and effectively.
  • Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on staff performance, attendance, cleaning progress, and incidents.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment that motivates the cleaning team.
  • Assist with hands-on cleaning tasks and support the team directly when required or during staff shortages.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in a supervisory role within cleaning or facilities management.
  • Strong knowledge of various cleaning chemicals, equipment, and modern cleaning techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and motivational abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and accurately understand instructions in English.
  • Basic computer literacy for record-keeping, scheduling, and reporting.

  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or O'Level equivalent.
  • Certification in Facilities Management, Housekeeping, or a related field.
  • Previous experience specifically in residential estate cleaning or hospitality services.
  • In-depth knowledge of local health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
  • Valid First Aid certification.
