Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, offices, and treatment rooms according to hospital standards and infection control protocols.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, and polish surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, and furniture.
- Empty waste bins, properly dispose of medical and general waste, and replace liners.
- Clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces regularly, such as doorknobs, light switches, railings, and medical equipment.
- Restock supplies in patient rooms, restrooms, and other areas (e.g., soap, paper towels, toilet paper).
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or repair needs promptly to supervision.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of rooms for special events or departmental needs as required.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.

Preferred Qualifications
