Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate court records, documents, and case files, both physical and digital.
  • Prepare and issue court orders, summonses, warrants, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court sessions, swear in witnesses, and record proceedings accurately.
  • Process and file incoming legal documents, ensuring compliance with established rules and procedures.
  • Schedule hearings, trials, and other court appearances, coordinating with relevant parties.
  • Assist the public and legal professionals with inquiries regarding court procedures and case status.
  • Collect and process court fees, fines, and bail payments.
  • Prepare and distribute court calendars and dockets.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to strict ethical guidelines.
  • Utilize court case management systems for data entry and retrieval.
  • Liaise with judges, attorneys, law enforcement, and other judicial staff to facilitate court operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in legal administration or a court environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology and court procedures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with electronic court filing and case management systems.
