Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day operations.
- Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and rotating stock.
- Verify prescription information and prepare medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the pharmacy area and equipment.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff.
- Assist in the preparation of medication orders and deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including patient confidentiality (HIPAA/GDPR equivalent).
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required.
