Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with day-to-day operations.
  • Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves and rotating stock.
  • Verify prescription information and prepare medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the pharmacy area and equipment.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and answering phones.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and directing them to appropriate staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of medication orders and deliveries.
  • Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including patient confidentiality (HIPAA/GDPR equivalent).
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs as required.
