Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care are consistently met.

- Manage and develop nursing staff, including performance reviews, training, and competency assessments.
- Ensure adherence to all clinical governance, CQC regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
- Act as a role model and mentor for nurses, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Participate in the recruitment and retention of nursing staff.
- Lead on clinical audits, quality improvement projects, and risk management initiatives.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient pathways and outcomes.

Required Skills
- Current NMC registration (Adult Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, or Learning Disability Nurse)
- Significant post-registration experience in a relevant clinical setting, with demonstrable leadership experience.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a nursing team.
- Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and best practice guidelines.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
