Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals for corporate, group, and leisure segments.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calls, site visits, networking, and industry events.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key accounts to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in alignment with hotel policies and profitability targets.
  • Manage and maintain accurate sales records, client databases, and activity reports using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's operations, marketing, and revenue management teams to ensure seamless guest experiences and coordinated sales efforts.
  • Represent the hotel at local and national trade shows, conferences, and community events to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continued growth.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, new technologies, and changes in the local market to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the Palomino Hills / Apple Valley market and client base.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Delphi) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, results-oriented environment.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits and events.
