Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks through scripting (Python, Bash) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and data protection measures.
- Participate in architectural reviews and contribute to the strategic planning of cloud initiatives.
- Document cloud configurations, processes, and operational procedures clearly and concisely.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, DNS, Load Balancers) and security best practices in cloud environments.
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and administration.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Engineer).
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions).
- Knowledge of database technologies (relational and NoSQL) in a cloud context.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
