Job Description
A Cloud Platform Engineer at Career.zycto plays a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the robust and scalable infrastructure that underpins our innovative products and services. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to facilitate automated deployments and infrastructure changes.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure operational excellence for all cloud services.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications seamlessly with cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements across all cloud environments.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide support for critical infrastructure incidents.
- Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and strategies to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Document architectural decisions, processes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Expertise in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
