Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex issues across major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and health, responding to alerts and incidents promptly.
  • Diagnose and resolve intricate technical problems related to networking, compute, storage, databases, and security within cloud environments.
  • Implement proactive solutions and automation scripts to prevent recurring issues and enhance system reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, development, and operations teams on escalated issues and strategic projects.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support for critical production incidents.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and optimization of cloud resources and services.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of proven experience in technical support roles for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation and task orchestration.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls) in a cloud context.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
