Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for cloud services via multiple channels (phone, email, chat).
  • Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and user accounts.
  • Accurately document all support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.
  • Assist clients with routine service requests and guide them to self-help resources.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior Cloud Engineers for advanced troubleshooting.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance cloud platform knowledge and support skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge, best practices, and improve overall service delivery.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is an asset.
  • Foundational understanding of computer systems, networking basics, and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen analytical mind.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
  • Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with any major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) concepts.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow).
  • Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Certifications in IT fundamentals (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation).
  • Previous customer service or technical support experience (even non-IT specific).
