Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming products in designated cold storage areas.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipments according to specifications.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided, certification preferred).
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, reporting any discrepancies.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and cold chain management procedures.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the cold storage facility and equipment.
- Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in cold and freezer environments (temperatures typically ranging from -18°C to 4°C).
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting inventory.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment.
- Valid forklift or power pallet jack certification.
