Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk, and develop corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues.
- Monitor and track changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, ensuring timely updates to internal policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters, fostering a strong ethical culture throughout the organization.
- Oversee internal compliance investigations and manage responses to regulatory inquiries or audits.
- Prepare and present reports on compliance activities and risks to senior management and relevant committees.
- Collaborate with legal, HR, and operational teams to integrate compliance requirements into daily business processes.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all compliance activities, including policies, training records, and investigations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Compliance Officer or in a related compliance role (minimum 4 years).
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements pertinent to professional services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical business solutions.
- High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), or similar.
- Experience working within the professional services or recruitment industry.
- Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD).
