Key Responsibilities
- Identify, scout, and book musical artists and performers that align with target audience preferences and market trends.
- Negotiate artist contracts, performance fees, and technical rider requirements with agents and management.
- Secure appropriate venues, negotiate rental agreements, and ensure all logistical needs are met.
- Develop comprehensive event budgets, manage expenses, and track revenue to ensure profitability.
- Create and implement innovative marketing and promotional strategies across various channels (digital, print, radio, social media) to maximize ticket sales.
- Coordinate all aspects of event production, including sound, lighting, staging, security, ticketing, and concessions.
- Manage on-site event operations, overseeing staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, agents, venues, sponsors, media partners, and the local community.
- Conduct post-event analysis, gathering feedback and data to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including permits, licenses, and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in concert promotion, live event production, or entertainment management.
- Demonstrable track record of successfully planning, promoting, and executing live music events.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in artist booking and venue contracts.
- Proficiency in developing and managing event budgets.
- Extensive knowledge of digital marketing, social media campaigns, and traditional advertising methods for events.
