Key Responsibilities
- Monitor designated areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure crowd safety during concerts and events.
- Conduct thorough bag and personal checks as required, adhering to venue and company policies.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents such as disturbances, medical emergencies, or suspicious activities.
- Provide clear and concise directions and assistance to patrons, enhancing their event experience.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including alcohol policies, and manage disruptive individuals professionally.
- Work collaboratively with event staff, emergency services, and other security personnel to maintain a secure environment.
- Complete detailed incident reports for all security-related occurrences during shifts.
Required Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (or equivalent) is essential.
- Proven experience in a security role, preferably within an events or concert setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to situations.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Previous experience with large-scale crowd management techniques.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations pertinent to event security operations.
