Key Responsibilities
- Prepare sub-grade and set forms according to project specifications.
- Pour, spread, and smooth concrete using rakes, shovels, screeds, and floats.
- Operate power trowels, vibrators, and other finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Achieve specified finishes (e.g., broom finish, smooth finish, exposed aggregate).
- Apply curing and sealing compounds as required.
- Cut expansion joints using power saws and hand tools.
- Monitor weather conditions to adjust techniques and ensure proper curing.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and site protocols.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience as a Concrete Finisher.
- Proficiency in all aspects of concrete finishing, including screeding, floating, troweling, and edging.
- Strong understanding of concrete mix designs, curing processes, and slump control.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely (e.g., power trowels, vibrators, concrete saws).
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
