Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing fieldwork, including ecological surveys, species monitoring, and habitat assessments.
- Collect, organize, and manage environmental data using established protocols and specialized equipment.
- Perform preliminary data analysis and interpretation, contributing to research findings and project reports.
- Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization under supervision.
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesize scientific information to support project development and problem-solving.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and other communication materials.
- Participate in community engagement and outreach activities as required.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations during all fieldwork and lab activities.
- Maintain and calibrate field equipment, ensuring its proper functioning and data accuracy.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Conservation, or a closely related field.
