We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Conservator to join our esteemed network of cultural heritage professionals. This full-time, on-site role is based in the iconic Speicherstadt district of Hamburg, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its historic warehouses and vibrant cultural scene. As a Conservator, you will be instrumental in preserving a diverse range of artifacts, from maritime history collections to industrial heritage items and fine art, ensuring their longevity and accessibility for future generations.

Key Responsibilities

Required Skills
- Master's degree in Conservation, Art Conservation, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in conservation practice, preferably within a museum or heritage institution.
- Demonstrated expertise in the examination and treatment of a broad range of materials (e.g., wood, metal, ceramics, paper, textiles).
- Proficiency in scientific analysis techniques relevant to conservation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German language proficiency is a significant asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
