Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from planning to closeout, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Oversee procurement processes, negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams, providing regular project updates.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or cost overruns.
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to specifications.
  • Manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals efficiently.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Implement quality control programs to ensure all work meets Career.zycto's high standards.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years (60 months) of progressive experience in construction project management.
  • Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, or large-scale residential construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant building codes.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore).
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification.
  • Experience with LEED certified projects or sustainable construction practices.
  • Familiarity with the local Anniston/Oxford construction market and regulatory environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
