Job Description

London Drugs is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Part-Time Content Review Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Richmond, BC operations. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of our extensive digital and print content. This includes reviewing product descriptions, promotional materials, website copy, internal communications, and customer-facing literature across our diverse range of departments. Your critical eye will safeguard the London Drugs brand identity, ensure all information is factually correct, grammatically sound, and adheres to our brand guidelines, as well as relevant legal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and proofread a broad spectrum of content, including website product listings, marketing flyers, social media content, email newsletters, and internal documentation, for grammar, spelling, punctuation, accuracy, and brand voice.
  • Ensure all content aligns with London Drugs' corporate style guide, legal requirements, and regulatory standards for retail and pharmacy operations.
  • Verify factual data, product specifications, pricing, and promotional details against source materials.
  • Flag content discrepancies, potential compliance issues, or areas requiring further clarification to relevant teams.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking content reviews, revisions, and approval statuses.
  • Collaborate effectively with marketing, e-commerce, product management, and legal departments to facilitate content updates and ensure a unified brand message.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of content review processes and guidelines.
  • Stay updated on best practices for content quality assurance and retail communication standards.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and superior proofreading and copyediting skills.
  • Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex style guides and compliance policies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a valued member of a team in a hybrid setup.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education (diploma or degree) in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in content review, quality assurance, proofreading, or a similar role, ideally within a retail or e-commerce setting.
  • Familiarity with digital content accessibility guidelines and SEO principles.
  • Understanding of Canadian retail or pharmacy regulatory environments.
  • Experience working with large-scale product databases or catalogs.
