Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, resolving user problems efficiently and effectively.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, peripherals, and software applications for new and existing users.
- Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure.
- Document IT procedures, troubleshooting steps, and configurations for knowledge base enhancement.
- Assist in server administration tasks, including user account management, permissions, and basic server monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex technical issues and implement new solutions.
- Educate end-users on IT best practices and new technologies to improve productivity and reduce support incidents.
- Participate in IT asset management, including inventory tracking and lifecycle management of equipment.
Required Skills
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in an IT support or specialist role.
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic troubleshooting.
- Experience with hardware diagnostics and repair for desktops, laptops, and printers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to technical issue resolution.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
