Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude, helping them locate products and make selections.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems to accurately process transactions and handle cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving, displays, and checkout areas.
- Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are clearly priced and readily available.
- Learn and effectively communicate product knowledge across various craft categories (e.g., knitting, painting, scrapbooking).
- Support inventory management through receiving, tagging, and organizing new shipments.
- Answer customer inquiries in person and via phone with helpful and accurate information.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.
