Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, negotiate, and administer a wide range of commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, sales, operations) to understand business needs and translate them into robust contractual terms.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing proactive recommendations and solutions.
- Maintain an organized contract management system, tracking key dates, obligations, and renewals.
- Resolve contractual disputes and interpret contract clauses as needed.
- Stay updated on relevant legal changes and best practices in contract law.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of contract templates and processes.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, legal administration, or a similar role.
- Solid understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
- Demonstrated ability to draft, negotiate, and interpret complex contracts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (bilingualism is often an asset in Quebec).
