Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our growing team in Dore, Sheffield, effective immediately. This pivotal role involves managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from initial drafting and negotiation through to execution, amendment, and renewal. You will serve as a critical point of contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, ensuring all contractual agreements align with company policies, legal requirements, and business objectives. Your expertise will safeguard our interests, minimise risks, and facilitate smooth, compliant operations across various departments. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach, exceptional communication skills, and a strong understanding of contract law principles. The Contracts Administrator will be instrumental in upholding our reputation for integrity and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including vendor agreements, client contracts, service agreements, and NDAs, ensuring adherence to legal standards and company policies.
  • Manage contract lifecycle from initiation to expiration, including tracking key dates, renewals, and obligations.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments (Legal, Finance, Sales) and external parties on all contractual matters.
  • Maintain an organised and up-to-date contract management system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of documents.
  • Identify potential contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect company interests.
  • Facilitate contract approvals by circulating documents to relevant stakeholders and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any deviations or disputes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract terms, conditions, and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Contracts Administrator or similar role.
  • Proven understanding of contract law principles and legal terminology.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Experience with UK-specific contract regulations and compliance.
  • Certification in Contract Management (e.g., IACCM, NCMA).
