Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support company objectives and enhance brand reputation.
- Draft, edit, and proofread a wide range of communications materials, including press releases, internal announcements, web content, social media posts, and executive communications.
- Manage media relations, including fielding inquiries, coordinating interviews, and distributing press materials to relevant media outlets.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Assist in the creation and distribution of internal communications to foster employee engagement and ensure consistent messaging.
- Support crisis communication efforts by helping to prepare statements and manage responses.
- Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments to ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
- Maintain and update corporate communication archives and resources.
- Contribute to the development of corporate presentations, reports, and other stakeholder-facing documents.
- Manage social media content strategy and scheduling, engaging with our online community.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a corporate communications, public relations, or related role.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism is mandatory for this role).
- Proven ability to craft engaging and persuasive content for various platforms (press releases, web copy, social media posts, internal memos).
- Demonstrated experience in media relations and building strong relationships with journalists and media contacts.
