Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in comprehensive training sessions covering security protocols, emergency response, surveillance systems, and access control.
- Shadow experienced security personnel to learn daily operational procedures and best practices in corporate security.
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems, reporting any unusual activities or breaches promptly.
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, both internal and external, ensuring the security and safety of premises and personnel.
- Assist in the enforcement of company security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance by employees and visitors.
- Respond to and report security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Provide excellent customer service and assistance to employees and visitors regarding security-related inquiries.
- Learn to operate various security equipment and technologies proficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and effective security operation.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and system monitoring.
- Valid G-Class Driver's License with a clean driving record (preferred, but not strictly required at application).
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Criminology, Law Enforcement, Security Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a customer service role or any environment requiring vigilance.
