Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to deliver packages to various locations within Duvernay, Laval, and surrounding regions.
- Assist with loading and unloading packages, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage.
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules, adapting to changes as necessary while maintaining timely deliveries.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including signatures and delivery confirmations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing Career.zycto professionally.
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to ensure smooth and coordinated delivery operations.
- Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and fueled.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 5 (or equivalent) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Laval and its surrounding areas, or a willingness to learn quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
