Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for guests, providing information, assistance, and resolving inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Actively participate in and facilitate a variety of onboard activities, events, and entertainment programs to engage guests of all ages.
  • Assist with guest check-in, embarkation, and disembarkation processes, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, escalating complex issues to management when necessary and striving for optimal resolution.
  • Provide comprehensive information regarding ship services, facilities, port calls, shore excursions, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cruise itineraries, daily programs, and special events to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments onboard to ensure seamless service delivery and a cohesive guest experience.
  • Process transactions and handle administrative duties related to guest services as required.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies, safety regulations, and international maritime guidelines.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and crew members alike.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in hospitality, tourism, customer service, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working on a cruise ship or in a similar remote, live-in environment.
  • Proficiency in French, German, Spanish, or other international languages.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related discipline.
