Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, both walk-in and telephonic, at our Mantsonyane service center.
  • Provide comprehensive information about Vodacom products, services, and ongoing promotions.
  • Assist customers with account management, billing inquiries, service activations/deactivations, and SIM replacements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues related to mobile networks, data, and devices efficiently and effectively.
  • Process payments, recharges, and other financial transactions accurately and securely.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Educate customers on self-service options, digital tools, and the benefits of our various offerings.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment, reflecting Vodacom’s brand standards.
  • Adhere strictly to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements to ensure consistent service quality.
  • Collect customer feedback and contribute to service improvement initiatives, helping us better serve the community.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sesotho.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite, email).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to customer challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a genuinely customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education or a diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience specifically within the telecommunications industry.
