Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Perform extensive data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering to prepare data for analysis and modeling.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define key metrics, and translate them into data science projects.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and automated reporting solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences using compelling visualizations and clear explanations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and apply relevant techniques.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).
  • Expertise in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with ambiguous requirements.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
