Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Day Shift Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Clareview, Edmonton. This full-time position operates during week shifts, playing a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our vital information systems. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting a high volume of data from various sources into our internal databases and systems, ensuring all information is correctly categorized and promptly updated. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input a high volume of alphanumeric data from source documents into computer systems and databases.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, correcting any discrepancies or errors identified.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with company policies and privacy regulations.
  • Organize and file source documents after data entry to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Generate reports, retrieve data, and perform other administrative tasks as requested.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments regarding data entry status and issues.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and best practices for data management and record-keeping.
  • Assist with data cleanup projects and database maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned data entry tasks and projects.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.
  • Exceptional typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 WPM).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
