Job Description
Career.zycto is actively seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our growing team as a Day Shift Packer for our week shifts in Downtown Montreal. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in their meticulous work. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are accurately and efficiently prepared for shipment, upholding our commitment to quality and timely delivery to our valued customers.
Your day will involve a variety of tasks centered around preparing goods for dispatch. This includes carefully inspecting items, ensuring they meet our quality standards, and then packing them securely according to specific guidelines. You’ll be using various packing materials and equipment to prevent damage during transit. Attention to detail is paramount, as is the ability to work collaboratively within a team to meet daily targets. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company standards.
- Inspect products for quality and quantity, ensuring all items match order specifications.
- Operate basic packing equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., tape guns, shrink wrap machines).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including counting and labeling products as needed.
- Handle materials and packages with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, warehouse, or production role.
- Experience with inventory systems or handheld scanners.
