Transcom Lda is seeking a motivated Delivery Routing Aide to join our team in Natikiri, Nampula. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and optimizing daily delivery routes for drivers to ensure efficiency and timely deliveries.
- Prepare and organize delivery manifests, invoices, and other essential documentation for outgoing shipments.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding route changes, delivery updates, and any issues encountered on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, returns, and inventory, using both manual and digital systems.
- Support the dispatch team with data entry, filing, and general administrative tasks.
- Assist in the loading and unloading process, ensuring packages are sorted correctly for routing.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure proper staging of items for delivery routes.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite, especially Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or a related administrative role (6 months+)
- Familiarity with the geographical area of Natikiri and Nampula province
- Knowledge of basic inventory management principles
- Proficiency in English (advantageous for some documentation)
