Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet patients, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, particularly for diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Manage patient scheduling, confirming appointments, and handling cancellations efficiently.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
  • Process patient registrations, update personal and insurance information accurately.
  • Handle billing, payment processing, and insurance claim submissions, offering guidance to patients on coverage.
  • Maintain organized patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Prepare and manage patient charts, scanning documents, and ensuring all necessary forms are completed.
  • Maintain the reception area, keeping it tidy and presentable.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and dentists to ensure seamless patient flow.
  • Educate patients on clinic policies, procedures, and basic dental care information.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering office supplies as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
