Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior traders with real-time market research and in-depth analysis of derivatives products.
  • Support the execution of various derivatives trades (e.g., futures, options, swaps) under direct supervision.
  • Develop, backtest, and refine quantitative trading strategies and models using statistical software.
  • Monitor global market news, economic indicators, and geopolitical events for potential trading impacts.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on market trends, trade performance, and risk exposure.
  • Learn and apply robust risk management principles to mitigate potential losses and optimize returns.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, strategy discussions, and post-trade analysis sessions.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance trading tools and data infrastructure.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel/VBA and at least one programming language (Python or R) for data analysis.
  • Fundamental understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and derivatives instruments (futures, options).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurately in a high-pressure, fast-paced trading environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • High level of initiative, self-motivation, and a keen desire to learn and adapt.

Preferred Qualifications
