Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an accomplished and strategic Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent enhancement initiatives. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive learning and development strategies that align with our organizational goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of developing high-impact learning programs that drive performance, engagement, and career progression across all levels of the company.

As the Director of Learning & Development, you will play a critical role in shaping the future capabilities of our workforce. You will work closely with senior leadership to identify current and future skill gaps, design targeted interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of all L&D programs. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto's strategic objectives and business needs.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative learning programs, including leadership development, technical training, onboarding, and continuous professional development initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and future training requirements across various departments.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality program delivery.
  • Establish metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all learning programs, reporting on progress and making data-driven improvements.
  • Foster a strong learning culture within the organization, promoting self-directed learning and continuous professional growth.
  • Mentor and develop a team of L&D professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in adult learning theory and talent development.
  • Collaborate with HR, departmental leaders, and external partners to ensure seamless integration of L&D initiatives with broader talent management strategies.

Required Skills

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and various learning methodologies (e.g., e-learning, blended learning, experiential learning).
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills, with the ability to manage complex initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing L&D team.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other HR/L&D technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and demonstrate program effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPTD, ACC, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
  • Familiarity with talent management software and performance appraisal systems.
  • Experience in change management and organizational effectiveness.
