Job Description

The Director of Learning & Development will be a pivotal leader within Career.zycto, responsible for defining, developing, and executing a comprehensive learning strategy that aligns with our business objectives and fosters a culture of continuous growth and high performance. This strategic role requires an individual who can not only design innovative learning programs but also inspire and lead teams through change, ensuring our workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. You will be instrumental in identifying talent development needs across all levels of the organization, from entry-level professionals to senior leadership, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance individual capabilities and organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a long-term learning and development strategy aligned with Career.zycto’s strategic goals.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning programs, workshops, and initiatives across various modalities (e.g., in-person, e-learning, blended learning).
  • Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities for all levels of employees.
  • Oversee the selection and management of external training vendors, consultants, and educational resources.
  • Establish clear metrics and robust evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness and impact of L&D programs, reporting on key performance indicators and ROI.
  • Champion a continuous learning culture throughout the organization, actively promoting self-directed learning and knowledge sharing practices.
  • Mentor and develop a small team of L&D professionals, providing guidance and fostering their growth.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and HR business partners to seamlessly integrate L&D initiatives into broader talent management strategies.
  • Manage the L&D budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to maximize impact.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging learning technologies, and current talent development trends to ensure Career.zycto remains at the forefront of innovation.

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale L&D strategies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and various learning technologies.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strategic thinking with a highly results-oriented approach to L&D initiatives.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate program effectiveness and report on key metrics and insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a closely related field.
  • Certification in coaching, psychometric assessments, or advanced instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience working specifically in the professional services or consulting industry.
  • Familiarity with advanced talent management software and tools beyond basic LMS functionalities.
  • Experience with designing and implementing global or multi-location L&D initiatives.
