Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning & Development (L&D) strategy aligned with Career.zycto's overarching business objectives and growth plans.
- Design, implement, and manage a diverse portfolio of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills enhancement, soft skills training, and compliance modules.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify current and future skill gaps within the organization and among the professionals we serve, developing proactive solutions.
- Establish robust metrics and evaluation frameworks to measure the effectiveness and ROI of all L&D initiatives, utilizing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimal utilization of learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
- Provide executive coaching and mentorship to senior leaders and high-potential employees to foster their growth and leadership capabilities.
- Manage the L&D department's budget and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and demonstrable value.
- Champion and cultivate a strong culture of continuous learning, professional development, and knowledge sharing across the entire organization.
- Stay abreast of global industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative methodologies in learning and development, integrating relevant advancements.
- Collaborate strategically with Human Resources and various departmental managers to seamlessly integrate L&D initiatives into broader talent management and succession planning strategies.
Required Skills
- Proven track record of strategic leadership in Learning & Development, preferably within a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment.
- Expertise in instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and curriculum development.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting for measuring L&D effectiveness and demonstrating impact.
- In-depth knowledge of modern learning technologies (LMS, authoring tools, virtual learning platforms).
- Demonstrated strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to link L&D to organizational performance.
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation within an L&D function.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in L&D (e.g., CPTD, ATD), coaching, or psychometric assessment tools.
- Extensive experience with blended learning approaches, digital learning transformation, and innovative learning technologies.
- Familiarity with the Zimbabwean professional landscape, talent market dynamics, and unique local development needs.
