Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking an inspirational and strategic Director of Learning & Development to lead our talent growth initiatives. This pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping our organizational culture, enhancing employee capabilities, and driving overall business success through world-class learning experiences. The Director of L&D will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning strategies and programs that align with our strategic goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

You will be at the forefront of identifying skill gaps, curating innovative learning solutions, and leveraging cutting-edge methodologies to empower our diverse workforce. This includes developing leadership pipelines, refining onboarding processes, and championing a growth mindset across all levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy that supports Career.zycto’s business objectives and talent development goals.
  • Design, implement, and manage a wide range of learning programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, compliance training, and professional development courses.
  • Oversee the full learning cycle: needs analysis, content creation, program delivery, and effectiveness evaluation (ROI).
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior leadership and HR to identify critical skill gaps and forecast future learning needs across the organization.
  • Manage the L&D budget, vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts for external training resources and platforms.
  • Champion the adoption of blended learning approaches, e-learning solutions, and modern instructional design methodologies.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact and effectiveness of all L&D initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in learning and development.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic L&D programs in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and various delivery methods.
  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA in a relevant discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as CPTD (Certified Professional in Talent Development) or CPLP (Certified Professional in Learning and Performance).
  • Experience with organizational change management and talent succession planning.
  • Familiarity with global or multi-cultural learning environments.
  • Prior experience working in the consulting or professional services industry.
