Job Description

This pivotal Director of Learning & Development role offers a unique opportunity to lead transformative talent initiatives within Beitbridge and across the vibrant Matabeleland South Province. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a holistic learning and development strategy aligned with business objectives of partner organizations.
  • Lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of all training programs, workshops, and e-learning modules.
  • Identify current and future skill gaps through comprehensive needs assessments and collaborate with departmental heads to address them proactively.
  • Manage the L&D budget, resources, and vendor relationships effectively and efficiently.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
  • Introduce and integrate innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
  • Develop and oversee leadership development programs and succession planning initiatives.
  • Establish robust KPIs for L&D programs, meticulously report on their effectiveness, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Mentor and coach L&D team members (if applicable) and serve as an expert resource for the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in organizational development and adult learning to ensure programs remain cutting-edge.
