Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with organizational goals and future workforce needs.
- Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of all L&D programs, including leadership development, technical skills training, and soft skills workshops.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the L&D team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and demonstrating ROI for all initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to identify critical skill gaps and forecast future training requirements.
- Implement and manage performance management systems, talent reviews, and succession planning processes.
- Champion the use of innovative learning technologies and methodologies to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for L&D programs and report on their impact on employee performance and business outcomes.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in learning, talent management, and organizational development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate impactful learning strategies and programs.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design principles, and various training methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and vendor negotiations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPTD, SHRM-SCP, HRCI-SPHR).
